Personal Narrative from Pat Krajaefski

Bill Heintz was a very outgoing person with a very pleasant manner an d cheerful disposition. He loved to tease our children when we met an d they loved his gold tooth that sparkled as he spoke, and were fascin ated by his ever present cigar. When we were children, he and Aun t Ada provided our large family with a very large turkey for our Chris tmas dinner. One year during the depression, they brought us a six fo ot toboggan on Christmas eve. It made our Christmas and provided al l the children with many hours of enjoyment.

He worked for Prudential Insurance Company for forty years and retire d as assistant-superintendent of agencies. He and Aunt Ada enjoyed ba seball games and fishing, and celebrated their fiftieth wedding annive rsary on June 30, 1959. They were active members of St. Marks Luthera n Church. They both died after brief illnesses and are buried in St . Peters Lutheran Cemetery.
